Officials in Washington say a fifth student has died due to injuries suffered during a shooting that took place at a Washington high school last month.

According to the Associated Press, officials at Harborview Medical Center say Andrew Fryberg, 15, died last night. Fryberg succumbed to wounds sustained when his 14-year-old cousin, Jaylen Fryberg, opened fire on classmates at Marysville-Pilchuck High School on Oct. 24. Fourteen-year-old Zoe Glasso was pronounced dead at the scene, while Gia Soriano, 14, passed away at Providence Regional Medical Center on Oct. 26. Shaylee Chuckulnaskit, also 14, died on Oct. 31.

Following the shooting, Jaylen Fryberg turned the gun on himself.

The Associated Press reports that Andrew Fryberg was the last student still hospitalized. His other cousin, Nate Hatch, 14, left Harborview Medical Center on Thursday.

In a heartbreaking statement, Andrew Fryberg's family thanked supporters and hospital staff, while requesting that everyone "respect [their] privacy at this time of our deep loss."
