The patient is said to have made contact with Thomas Eric Duncan.

Health officials say that a patient in a Dallas suburb claiming to have had contact with Thomas Eric Duncan has exhibited Ebola-like symptoms. Duncan died this morning after being diagnosed with the deadly virus late last month.

According to NBC Dallas-Fort Worth, the patient was reportedly displaying signs of Ebola at a Care Now facility:

CBS 11 has confirmed that the patient checked yes to one of the screening questions regarding travel to West Africa. The facility is in contact with the Centers for Disease Control and is holding everyone in the facility until receiving clearance from the CDC. The patient is being transported to a nearby hospital by Frisco firefighter-paramedics.

NBC Dallas-Forth Worth adds that other patients and clinical staff are also being examined by first responders. Furthermore, it remains unclear if the patient was one of the nearly 50 people who made contact with Duncan and are currently being monitored by officials.
