Authorities say a distraught Macedonian man cut off his own his own penis after breaking up with his girlfriend.
The victim, 22-year-old Oliver Ilic, sliced his member off with a razor blade and threw it in a trash can. When the bleeding wouldn't stop, he was forced to call for assistance and was taken to a Kocani hospital. It's there that he told doctors that he cut off his penis due to its size, assuming this was the reason his relationship soured.
The silver lining here is that Ilic was transferred to another facility where his penis was reattached following a five-hour procedure, though it's still unknown if it will function properly again.
