Chris Pratt Hosting SNL

It's that Chris Pratt, he's so hot right now. Chris Pratt.

The star of the year's biggest movie, Guardians of the Galaxy, who also happens to be one of the funniest, most loved actors in Hollywood right now, will be the rightful host of the 40th season premiere of Saturday Night Live on Sept. 27. It'll be Pratt's first time hosting SNL, but after seeing his improvisational work as Andy Dwyer on Parks and Recreation (and just seeing how hard he's killing life in general right now), we're pretty sure he'll nail it.

The musical guest for the premiere will be Ariana Grande, who also had a huge summer. (Bigger than Nicki Minaj? Probably not, but whatever.) And that's not all: NBC also announced that this season's second episode will be hosted by Sarah Silverman with musical guest Maroon 5.

But we all know what this is really about. The Year of Pratt continues!
