Bill Murray, legendary folk hero who wanders the countryside spreading joy to the masses, and part-time movie star, is going to voice Baloo the bear in a remake of the Disney animated classic The Jungle Book.
He joins a cast that already includes Christopher Walken (King Louie, orangutan), Giancarlo Esposito (Akela, gray wolf), Ben Kingsley (Bagheera, black panther), Lupita Nyong’o (Raksha, another wolf), Idris Elba (Shere Khan, tiger), Scarlett Johansson (Kaa, snake) and newcomer Neel Sethi (Mowgli, human kid).
The movie, directed by Jon Favreau, will combine animation with live action.
It's set for an Oct. 9, 2015 release. For now, let's imagine an animated bear sipping Suntory.
