The beloved 7A Cafe (109 Avenue A) has been kind of resurrected inside of its old East Village home as Miss Lily's 7A Cafe. Previously a low-key spot, the new incarnation features an assortment of colors, and a huge framed portrait of Grace Jones. Modesty is not the motto. This move also gives the SoHo location of Miss Lily's a younger sibling.

In terms of food, fans of Miss Lily's will be happy to see favorites like the Pepper Shrimp and Oxtail Stew. Then, of course, there's chicken, salmon, tofu and more all available for the jerking. There's also a new menu featuring the 7A Salad and Hellfire Fish & Chips.

Though it won't be open 24 hours like 7A was, it still offers a number of drinks that rum lovers will enjoy like the Frozen Dark & Stormy and the Lily's Punch. The restaurant opens for dinner at 5 p.m., with brunch running from 11 a.m. until 5 p.m. on weekends.
