In a tragic turn of events, a husband and wife were killed in a car accident after colliding into each other head-on.
Times Recorder News reports that the couple, 26-year-old Kristina Munoz and 31-year-old Nicolas Cruz, crashed into each other on County Road 87 in Odell, Texas around 10 a.m. Wednesday morning. The Times Recorder News adds that the accident happened near the Marhard Pullet Farm, where Munoz and Cruz both worked.
Furthermore, emergency crews needed special equipment to remove each driver from the vehicles. Both were pronounced dead at the scene, and Department of Public Safety Trooper Jymie Ha told the Times Recorder that he didn't think either were wearing seat belts.
