Anna Kendrick is currently filming Pitch Perfect 2, but need we remind you, fancy cup tricks aren't all she's good for.
She's also quite good at starring in Joe Swanberg movies. Her second Swanberg film after a supporting role inDrinking Buddies, Happy Christmas has Kendrick front and center. The movie follows Kendrick as a twentysomething who can't get her shit together, so she moves back home over the holidays to live with her brother's family. Of course, shenanigans ensue—like the fact that she almost burns their house down. Joe Swanberg, Melanie Lynskey, Mark Webber, Lena Dunham, and the incomparable baby Jude Swanberg round out the cast of the indie dramedy.
The film, which premiered at this year's Sundance Film Festival, will be released by Magnolia Pictures on VOD on June 26th and in limited theaters on July 25.
