Many of the coolest special editions from Sony, and for that matter Nintendo, never seem to make it out of Japan. But we're hoping this latest news of the PlayStation 4 Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes special edition console will mark a change to come.
The Metal Gear Solid IV PlayStation 3 was one of the most sought after editions of the console during the last generation (pictured below) now a “Fox Edition” PS4 sports the logo, controller and physical copy of the Ground Zeroesgame.
Ground Zeroes will be something of a prologue to Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain. Think of it as pre-DLC but as a standalone game.
No word yet on if this special edition will make a hop across the pacific but hopefully it means one of the future editions will.
