A shooting at a house in the Houston suburbs left two people dead and another 22 injured late last night. Roughly 100 young adults had gathered at a home in the Cypress area when shots were fired, sending partygoers fleeing for their lives.

According to the Harris County Sheriff's Office, the victims are a man and a woman, while the other 22 people sustained minor to critical injuries. Thomas Gilliland, a spokesperson for the sheriff's office, described the scene as "chaotic," telling the Houston Chronicle that some people even suffered sprained ankles while running out of the home.

There's been no word on how many shots were fired, nor what motivated the shooting. The sheriff's office adds that authorities are searching for two suspects.
