If this works out, it might be the most obvious casting in the history of casting ever. According to The Wrap, model-turned-actress Kate Upton is in talks to portray the female lead in the upcoming Entourage film, which is officially confirmed to begin filming early next year.
While Upton has not formally been offered the role yet, sources close to production report that she's in "early discussions" to join the cast. No word what what exactly her role would be, as that information is being kept under wraps, but the casting does makes sense. She's one of the top models in the world right now—if that doesn't drive people to the theaters, what else will?
Upton's rep is reportedly denying that the 21-year-old is in talks for the role, but they did confirm that Upton was approached for the project earlier this year.
Should Upton join the film, it would be her second major film role to date—she's just finished up filming a part in the upcoming Cameron Diaz-starring comedy The Other Woman.
