Flights at Los Angeles International Airport were delayed last night after a bottle of dry ice exploded in a bathroom. According to FBI spokeswoman Laura Eimiller, the 7 p.m. explosion was triggered by a chemical reaction inside of the Terminal 2 bathroom; fortunately, no one was injured.

According to the New York Post, Eimiller said the blast occured in an area that the public did not have access to. Even though there were no injuries, authorities still closed the terminal off and combed it for evidence. Security screening was stopped for about an hour, thus delaying as many as four flights from departing.

The FBI is investigating how the bottle ended up in the bathroom.
