Beginning Thursday, KFC locations in Japan will begin selling deep-fried soup. Available for a brief test window, the new menu item consists of creamy corn porridge covered in batter—crispy on the outside, soft and gooey on the inside.

If they're successful, there's a possibility they'll be tested in the states. You know that here in 'Merica we love to deep-fry things. Even liquids.
