Cue the world's tiniest violin playing the saddest little tune you've ever heard: Kris Jenner's Fox talk show, Kris, has been canceled. Kanceled, if you will. You know had to be too far gone if even that surprise appearance by Kanye West couldn't save it...
According to Radar Online, there's "no way" that Fox is going to renew Kris with the ratings it was receiving during its six-week trial run. According to a source close to production, the network was having a hard time getting advertisers on board when the show was only pulling in a 0.8 rating on average.
"There is no chance the talk show is going to get a green light from FOX. The ratings were averaging an abysmal 0.8 and advertisers were less than enthusiastic about it," the source said. "Kris did get a ratings bump for her last show when Kanye West revealed the first baby pic of daughter, North West, with Kim, but that was a one time shot in the arm and it wouldn’t be indicative of what the ratings trend would be." According to the source, Kris will make the announcement on a Friday afternoon "so it won’t generate a ton of negative press" for her.
It's worth noting that there hasn't been any official statement from Fox yet, so perhaps there's a tiny little shred of hope for this show that shouldn't, but consider it a miniscule shred: We're really not having a tough time believing this report, because the ratings (and the show itself) just weren't good enough to merit a pick up.
Oh well. Guess Kris will have to settle for just appearing on Keeping Up With the Kardashians...and Kim and Kourtney Take New York...and Kourtney and Khloe Take Miami...what a difficult life she leads.
