The One World Trade Center's spire was finally placed atop it last week, and one of the workers there installed a GoPro camera atop the spire that captured a mesmerizing point-of-view shot of the city during the symbolic moment. The spire makes the building 1,776 feet tall (symbolic in that America was founded in 1776), which gives it the distinction of being the third tallest building in the world. The video is incredibly breath-taking, and it makes you wonder: what kind of guts do you have to have to be close to 2,000 feet in the air under a huge chunk of swaying metal?
