Emma Roberts got her first taste of the horror genre with a role in Scream 4, so it's no surprise she was a shoe-in for a role in one of the best scary shows on TV, American Horror Story. According to TVLine, Roberts is set to appear in the third season of the FX series, which is subtitled Coven and said to be about witches.

As for her role, there's not much info about it yet, but the character is being described as a "self-involved party girl" named Madison. If you've seen Celeste and Jesse Forever, you'll know this is perfect - Roberts portrayed a self-involved singer named Riley Banks flawlessly in that film.

Roberts will appear alongside AHS vets Jessica Lange, Sarah Paulson, Lily Rabe, Frances Conroy and Taissa Farmiga, as well as her real-life boyfriend Evan Peters
