Who knew that harvesting natural resources could be so much fun? Whether it was the minerals of Starcraft or the the gold of Warcraft, many of the brightest young minds of today spent their formative years mindlessly sending Grunts back and forth between buildings and mines in these games. A typical round of Warcraft would go like this: first, you mine gold, then you buy knights, then the knights get killed, then you start mining gold again.

It's surprising that there aren't more geology majors coming out of school, given just how much time many recent college grads spent dragging digital ore from the heart of the Earth.
