Ubisoft has announced the third DLC pack for Ghost Recon: Future Soldier: the "Khyber Strike" multiplayer expansion.
Like the game's first DLC, "Arctic Strike," but unlike the second DLC, "Raven Strike," "Khyber Strike" is a multiplayer-only pack. It brings three new multiplayer maps to the table, as well as a new multiplayer mode, a new Guerrilla mode map, new achievements, and a higher level cap by ten.
The three multiplayer maps are Palace, a "magnificent relic;" Switchback, "a maze of ancient buildings and narrow alleys;" and Transit, an underground metro station in Moscow.
Takeover, the new multiplayer game mode, is a souped-up team deathmatch, where teams compete for higher kill counts while attempting to take territory from one another to get better score multipliers.
The Guerilla map, Village, is a peaceful country retreat "transformed into a battleground, as fighting rages around its central bus station."
The "Khyber Strike" DLC drops Oct. 9 for 360 and PS3 for $9.99.
