According to Deadline, Office star Brian Baumgartner has signed on for a new comedy series on ABC. The show will be executive produced by Greg Daniels, who held that same title for The Office, and it will be written by Harris Wittels, who is currently working on Parks & Recreation.
Baumgartner will play Normam, a mid-level airline executive striving to succeed at anything. This comes off the news that fellow Office alum Craig Robinson has also landed a new show with Daniels on NBC. It looks like the cast of The Office isn’t waiting to find their next projects.
