Let's keep it real, it looks like Nicki Minaj wears a lot of makeup. That's not necessarily a bad thing. Now, she'll have some help with that. Along with Ricky Martin (WTF?), she's the face of MAC's new "Viva Glam" campaign and will release a new line of lipstick dubbed Nicki.
"MAC to me always had the best makeup," she says. "I'm just being honest. It always looks rich. When I got into the business, everyone who did makeup had MAC products."
This is not Nicki's first run with MAC, however. She released a Pink Friday lipstick in 2010. And while all proceeds from "Viva Glam" products go to charity, Minaj herself is a big user of her own product.
"I have to wear makeup every day for work so I don't wear it on my off days," she says. "I just wear my Viva Glam shade every day. We run through some astronomical number per week. I asked my makeup artist how I went through so much lipstick. It takes me a couple of minutes to get ready if I'm not doing makeup. If we're doing makeup, I sit in the chair for about 40 minutes."
