Of course there's a little more to it than that, but yes, the basic premise of Brick-Force is Minecraft with guns.
Don't act so surprised. This has even been done before, by a game called (imaginatively) Guncraft, which entered beta some time ago, and StarForge, which may be too ambitious for its own good.
Brick-Force brings some fundamental changes to the Minecraft formula, of course, the most noticeable of which in the trailer is the ability to build/deconstruct blocks from a distance.
But Brick-Force also features upgradeable items and equipment, PvP modes like "Build 'n Destroy," and PvE modes like "Defense." And it's already got a reported 1 million registered players.
It runs in Unity 3D and is playable from your web browser. Check it out at Brick-Force.com and let us know what you think in the comments or on Twitter.
