It's been a tough few seasons to get through for fans of The Office. Longtime cast members have begun to leave, and the show seems like it's just circling the drain and waiting for the inevitable end. And the bad news isn't stopping either because now TV Guide is reporting that B.J. Novak, who plays Ryan Howard on the show, will no longer be a full-time member of the cast for this upcoming season.
Novak will still make occasional appearances on the show next season, but it looks like the workforce in Scranton just got a bit smaller. This news comes after it was revealed that Mindy Kaling will be leaving as well in order to star in The Mindy Project over at Fox.
