Kickstarter has spawned some pretty awesome projects in its time, but this one from Eric Moneypenny is pure comedy. The LA-based funnyman has proposed a Kickstarter campaign to buy Kickstarter itself.
For contributing to Moneypenny's campaign, supporters are promised hilariously underwhelming prizes like "a free Kickstarter account" and a "Pizza Party! With me, Eric Moneypenny, the new owner and CEO of Kickstarter."
The cost of that pizza party? $10,000 or more.
Moneypenny figures he needs $19 million in all to buy the hot NY-based startup, which, needless to say, is something of a tall order. The campaign hasn't officially launched yet, unfortunately, but you can keep an eye on it here.
