Amanda Bynes couldn't avoid the long arm of the law while cruising the streets of Los Angeles yesterday. The 25-year old actress was pulled over by the fuzz for talking on her cell phone while operating a motor vehicle.
It seemed like a pretty routine traffic stop, but apparently Amanda had better things to do than wait around for a cop to write her a ticket, so she put the pedal to the floor and sped off. The police officer opted not to pursue after determining she was not a hazard to the public, not to mention he had all of her information in his lap. Fail.
Later that day, Bynes showed up to the police station to sign off the traffic violation, but she might not get away with just a slap on the wrist. Authorities are currently deciding whether or not to charge her for leaving the scene, which could land her in some serious trouble.
