This is not something we would expect from the company J.D. Power and Associates ranked as the "Highest in Wireless Customer Care Performance among Full-Service Providers". Yet, Droid-Life reported yesterday that Verizon Wireless on January 15, 2012 will begin to charge subscribers $2 when they pay their bill using their credit or debit card online .
The tip came from a leaked internal document (seen below) the website got its hands on which labels the new cost a "Convenience Fee". The document also says subscribers will be able to avoid the $2 fee by signing up for the Verizon's Auto-Pay feature which automatically deducts the bill payment from your account.
Happy Holidays, everyone.
