It's seldom that we get to report on news coming from the frontlines of the Jersey Shore set that doesn't include any of our favorite guidos and guidettes doing what they do best—being hot messes, that is—so this is sort of a special event.
Anyway, looks like there was an arrest at the now infamous beach house. A friend of Mike "The Situation" Sorrentino, Jonathan Manfre (whose nickname is "The Unit"...yeah), was seen being led away by police around 3 a.m. this morning after being taken into custody for possession of a "white, powdery substance."
We're sure MTV was ecstatic to catch this all on tape, as the cast is currently in the land of the fake-bake filming the fifth season of the series, so this'll probably be on TV in a few months or so.
"The Unit," though? Really?
