For those of you who enjoy excruciatingly difficult games, Demon’s Souls was about as good as it could get. It was downright punishing and has been touted as one of the most challenging games ever. The spiritual successor to that game is Dark Souls, and just from the trailer we can glean that it will kick your ass. Seriously, in a single 65-second video the knight gets killed in like 10 different ways. We also learn that the release window for the game is sometime in October of this year, so all you masochistic maniacs won’t have to wait too long to take your beatings. [via Joystick Division]
