UPDATE (July 1): iTunes version 12.2 is now available, so you can now get Apple Music on your computer. Just go here and click “Try Now.”
Today was the big launch of Apple Music, the long-awaited streaming service that boasts discovery, curation, Beats 1 Radio, and involvement from big names like Pharrell, Drake, Zane Lowe, Jaden Smith, St. Vincent, Elton John, Jimmy Iovine, and more.
We’re excited to try it out, but the latest update option we’re given for iTunes is 12.1, and to use Apple Music on a computer, version 12.2 is needed. So Apple Music still won’t launch on iTunes.
