NLE Choppa and the mother of his daughter got into it on social media this week, with both parties lobbing accusations and insults at one another, while arguing about who deserves to have custody of the child

In a string of since-deleted tweets, Choppa got defensive when people began bringing up how he allegedly shot at Mariah’s mother’s house in 2020, while his daughter Clover was inside.

Choppa did not outright deny these allegations, but claimed the incident occurred before she was pregnant.

Clearly say before and those were past actions that’ll never happen again ever in life I’ve grown so much I respect women to much to even up a gun on a lady honestly

“Clearly say before and those were past actions that’ll never happen again ever in life I’ve grown so much I respect women to much to even up a gun on a lady honestly,” Choppa tweeted.

Allegations that the rapper opened fire at the home began circulating in 2020. At the time, Choppa said he was trying to see his daughter, but her mother wouldn’t let him. In one of his few recent tweets that wasn’t deleted, Choppa wrote that “keeping a child away from the parent that wants in, ain’t P.”

In tweets that were deleted, which were gathered by The Shade Room and can be viewed up top, Choppa wrote that he’s “posting to simply clear my name cause I feel it’s narrative painted of me that ain’t true and it eats me up inside. Not for somebody to side with me or for views or a like I actually care about my character. A kid simply wanne be in his child life that’s it.”

The rapper continued by saying he’s only seen his daughter three times since she was born. He also tries to flip the story against Mariah by saying that the “karma” she will face is going to be their child growing up without a father present in her life.

“Im miserable but having my baby kept away was pre meditated also them false charges that I beat. But I’m the bad guy,” he added. “Seen my daughter 3 times since she was born she going on 2 only time I’ve seen her is if it was COURT ORDERED but I’m the bad guy.”

Mariah also posted on her Instagram Stories to back her claims that the rapper attempted to inflict violence on her and their child. She cited that the judge ordered for the two to not contact each other initially, and that Choppa did not show up to their last court hearing. In another Story, she highlighted how Choppa already publicly admitted to the domestic abuse allegations against him, but has chosen to try and deny them now.

Before Clover was born, Choppa took to social media and claimed that Mariah wanted an abortion.
