In a recent interview with Hot 97’s TT Torrez DaBaby opened up about a variety of topics, including his volatile relationship with Danileigh and the fight with her brother.

During the discussion, Torrez asked the controversial rapper if he has any regrets about how his past relationships have ended.

“We all saw how everything played out socially online. If there was something you could have done differently, would you have done that differently?” she asked at the 39:00 minute mark of the interview.

“Nope” DaBaby replied. “Fuck that. Life is life. You know what I’m saying? Life is life.”

The Charlotte rapper went on to explain that relationships have always come easy to him, partly because he doesn’t mess around with his significant other.

“If order for it to have gone differently, it would have had to start up under the hood. You get what I’m saying?” he said. “I would have to put more out there to even break down what I would have done differently. Life is where it’s at at this point.”

DaBaby added, “We make adjustments and we carry on with integrity.”

Granted, while neither Torrez or DaBaby referred to DaniLeigh by name, it’s easy to assume that she was whom they were talking about in the aforementioned discussion.

Back in November, the couple, who was allegedly broken up at the time, aired things out publicly in an Instagram Live during which DaBaby filmed DaniLeigh while she was feeding their child.

From there, a number of statements from both parties were made public, including one in which DaBaby alleged to have been “beat on and yelled at and chased around.” DaniLeigh, meanwhile, said in her own statements and video responses that she and DaBaby had been living together for the past three months and—on the evening in question—he allegedly came into the room where she was feeding their child and suddenly told her to leave.

“This all goes to say that this man is a fucking coward,” she said in one post. In a video update, DaniLeigh said DaBaby “ain’t even been here this whole time that I’ve had this child.” She also pushed back against what she explained as an inaccurate image of her that’s been painted by DaBaby and others online.

Last month, footage of DaBaby and his crew getting into a fight with DaniLeigh’s brother at a bowling alley surfaced on social media, with the North Carolina rapper claiming he acted in “self defense.” The bowling alley, Corbin Bowl in Topanga, California, reportedly banned DaBaby from the premises.

A few days after the footage made the rounds on social media, Bills sued DaBaby over the fight for assault, battery, emotional distress, and negligence. In the court documents, Bills said he walked by him in the bowling alley when he was attacked without warning by the rapper and his crew. Prior to the fight, Bills said on social media he wanted to fight DaBaby because of his treatment of DaniLeigh.
