The busy streets of New York City are filled with street performers—buskers— trying to make ends meet or find someone with an ear for talent. So, when Erykah Badu anonymously started busking at Union Square for money, you'd be shocked by how many people didn't recognize her. Singing an original composition that we can only assume is called "Please (Sir) Give Me Some Money," she obviously sings to people about needing money. Other than one attentive fan who asks her to take a picture, no one on the streets seemed to notice that it was Erykah Badu singing and she made a whopping $3.50 for her free show. The video ends with her collecting her hard earned money and saying that "If you got initiative, you can make some money," and giving a brief look in the life of people who are truly hustling to get to their goals.
