On the Take Care album cut "Lord Knows," Drake said, "I know that showing emotion don’t ever mean I’m a pussy." He's was right too. In the last 10 years or so, hip-hop has really chilled with the machismo. Rappers used to be obsessed with yelling "no homo" or "pause" after uttering any term of endearment to any other man. Nowadays, a rapper is more like to just spread love and not really care about the snide remarks.
There are few artists as comfortable in their own skin as Drake. As much as people crack on him, he takes it all in stride and keeps it moving.
