Rolling Stoneis reporting that Bobby Womack died earlier today.The legendary soul singer was 70 years old. As of now, the cause of his death is unknown, but according to Rolling Stone, a representative of XL Records has confirmed the news. Womack started his career as a member of Curtis Womack And the Womack Brothers before eventually pursuing a solo career. In 2012, Womack released The Bravest Man In The Universe, which is the last album he put out. Prior to his passing, he announced that he was working on a new album, tentatively titled The Best Is Yet To Come. It would have been his twenty-eighth studio album.
