Fresh off appearances on both Post Malone and EarthGang's new albums, Young Thug has revisited his No. 1 album So Much Fun with the video for "Just How It Is." As the intro to the recently released project, the Wheezy and Nick Mira-produced track kicks off So Much Fun in a more somber fashion. The video also reflects the more intimate nature of the song, showing Thugger in a hospital and laying on the ground as a snake slithers over him.

Directed by Thug himself and Leff, the stark clip follows the release of his videos for "The London" with J. Cole and Travis Scott and "Surf" featuring Gunna. Mixing black-and-white close-up shots with more colorful, glam rock-inspired looks, the visual takes a much more stripped-back approach than his other recent efforts.

Thug earned his first-ever No. 1 release with So Much Fun, but he insisted in his CRWN interview that he's not too invested in its performance. "I don’t care for numbers, I only care for craft," he explained to Elliott Wilson. "I don’t pay attention to them." He also teased that the follow-up to the project is on the way soon, indicating a more introspective release entitled Punk could be out before the end of the year.
