An inspired collaboration from Majid Jordan and Khalid got the official video treatment Wednesday.
Speaking with Zane Lowe back in April surrounding the release of his Free Spirit project, Khalid teased the then-unreleased Majid Jordan collab "Caught Up" as "one of my favorite songs I've ever done." Majid Jordan, the OVO Sound-signed duo of Majid Al Maskati and Jordan Ullman, returned last September with the singles "Spirit" and "All Over You." At the time, it was unclear if the songs were released as one-offs or if they were part of a larger project, possibly even a full-length follow-up to their 2017 release The Space Between.
Khalid, meanwhile, is still in the Free Spirit era and is fresh off an Elton John shoutout and an Ed Sheeran collab titled "Beautiful People."
"[Khalid's] a great writer, a great singer, and he's going to be a great artist who has a long and interesting career," John, speaking with Pigeons & Planes, said.
