It's fitting that Sueco the Child's first big single is titled "Fast."

Just months after dropping the record on SoundCloud, the 22-year-old artist has reached a number of milestones: He went viral on the TikTok app, hit No. 1 on Spotify's Global and U.S. Viral charts, garnered more than 30 million streams on major platforms, and signed a deal with Atlantic Records.

Today, Sueco maintains that momentum with the release of the "Fast" music video, which is directed by RJ Sanchez.

The visual highlight's the Los Angeles artist's sense of humor while also critiquing the concept of "clout." We see Sueco & Co. running amok in a department store, posing next to cars that aren't theirs, taking up horseback riding, and making beats on a woman's buttocks.

You can check out the "Fast" video above. Sueco Child discusses his new video, upcoming project, and being influenced by Kanye West below.

You and your crew get into a lot of mischief in the video. What was your favorite scene to film and why?
I think my favorite scene to film was my content director Jerhell being the cowboy on the horse. He had never ridden a horse before but somehow he knew and everyone else knew that he'd be good at it. And by god he was. It was really funny watching it all happen. The jokes being made off to the side while Jerhell was on the horse were priceless.

What can fans expect from your upcoming project?
As far as my upcoming project, if you take a look at my SoundCloud, there's already a big variety of sounds. There'll obviously be a whole bunch of loud banger tracks, but I'm going to keep the variety and splice in a few more R&B leaning tracks, there's gonna be a guitar song, and there might be a spoken word poem, if I can figure out the right production to put behind it. My biggest musical influences are Green Day, Kanye, Kendrick, and The Weeknd, so hopefully that should give you at least a bit of a clue as to how it'll be sounding.

Your Instagram bio reads "the next Kanye." What kind of influence has Kanye had on your career/music?
I actually hold an opinion I don't think many people share in that Yeezus is my favorite Kanye album. The production is so experimental, it's dirty and gritty, but at the same time there's these crazy chords, it just strikes me the right way. But honestly, even though he is a big musical influence I would say I take more influence from Kanye in the way that I'm modeling my career. Kanye is a multifaceted artist, which is how I see myself. Obviously one of the key similarities is he is an artist-producer, which I am as well. But he's also a fashion icon and a major figure in pop culture in general. Further, he doesn't really give two shits what anybody thinks, which I admire. It's funny, me and my creative director Ryan Librada compare ourselves to Kanye and Virgil [Abloh]. Ryan's got a lot of talent in the fashion world and I've learned a lot from him over time, so I hope to be able to enable him for all his present and future endeavors.
