At just 18 years old, Brooklyn's Jay Gwuapo is certain his future is bright with a new Polo Grounds/RCA deal and an imminent new EP.

Friday, Gwuapo premiered his new "No Good for Me" video with Complex ahead of the April 26 release of his From Nothing EP. "Happy to be joining Polo Grounds/RCA, with them and my From Nothing Records family, the future is looking bright," he told Complex.

Catch the video, directed by Fred Focus and starring @_fonsyy, up top. The track itself is also available to stream on Apple Music, Spotify, etc.

Gwuapo's career took the turn that eventually landed him a deal after dropping a series of increasingly successful street singles, including "Downbad" and "Steppin' Out." Those sounds caught the attention of Polo Grounds' B. Jacques, who promptly linked with the young artist. As Gwuapo remembers, there was interest from other parties at the time, "but no one connected with me like my son B."

With next month's From Nothing, Gwuapo has even more visibility on the brain. "I want everyone to know that I'm here," he said.
