6ix9ine appears to be in, um, good spirits, judging from the photo posted by his girlfriend Jade on Instagram. The picture shows the rapper "embracing" his lady as she plants a kiss on him during a recent jail visit. "He's good luv, enjoy. #FreeDanny," the caption reads.
In late December, 6ix9ine's attorney Lance Lazzaro informed TMZ of preparations for a $1.5 million bail package that could possibly work toward getting the rapper released from prison as he awaits his trial in September. Lazzaro would need to convince the judge that 6ix9ine isn't a flight risk or danger to the community. The motion is expected to be filed before his next court appearance, which is scheduled for later this month.
6ix9ine was arrested in November and faces racketeering and firearm charges. Despite being behind bars since his arrest, the rapper has still managed to find himself in additional legal trouble. Organizers for Howard Homecoming Weekend filed a lawsuit last month alleging that 6ix9ine was expected to perform for $60,000, but waited until concertgoers were about to be admitted into the venue to inform them that he wouldn't be able to make it for the show. The promoters are demanding at least $300,000 in damages after claiming to have amassed nearly $200,000 in sales prior to the last-minute cancellation.
