A couple of years ago we excitedly brought you news of a cover of The Streets' "Blinded By The Lights" by an artist called Dan Caplen. Since then, we've been pretty enamored with Caplen's soulful and uplifting songwriting and today we've got the video for his latest single, "Trouble". Thematically, it treads the classic territory of being there for someone in their time of need, setting itself apart from the crowd with rousing major chords and a simple yet effective song structure. And then there's Ms. Banks. We're not entirely sure where she's finding the time for all this, but yet again she's gifted us a fast-paced, ultra dexterous slice of lyricism. Whether she's switching up UK rap, drill or pop, it's always profoundly effective.

If you recognise Dan Caplen's infectious tones (and, while we're at it, staggering vocal range) it's because you probably remember him from Rudimental's "These Days". That is, assuming you weren't one of the people responsible for "Trouble" hitting a cool 1.3 million streams since its release last month.
