Many of us are familiar with the sweet, honeymoon phase of a relationship. It's that time when the outside world seems to just melt away and feel less important whenever that special person is around. On his latest single, "Bout Noon," Jamaican artist Protoje encapsulates that feeling and delivers it back into a catchy, sonic love letter.

Today, Protoje returns to complete the sentiments felt in the single with its pairing visuals. "Bout Noon" describes the difficulty of sacrificing real responsibilities and time in order to get the chance to re-connect with your loved ones for just a little bit longer.

"With the video, we wanted to draw comparison to what it is like for so many persons in Jamaica who work late into the night trying to make ends meet, whilst thinking of those persons who are close to them," Protoje explains of his new video.

Later this month, on June 29, Protoje will release his fourth studio album A Matter of Time. "It’s not as traditional as my last album, but it’s still authentic," he reveals. "It’s more innovative, more global and more experimental. I want to elevate reggae culture and the world’s perception of it."
