KYLE is gearing up to release his debut album Light of Mine, which arrives later this month, and to build hype for its impending release, he's shared the video for his Kehlani collaboration "Playinwitme." Depicting a '90s-era dating show with the same name as the song itself, the video does a lot to highlight the chemistry between the two artists.

The hilarious new video was directed by Colin Tilley, who previously directed the visuals for "These Walls" and "Alright" by Kendrick Lamar among many other videos. The song sees three contestants, with KYLE and Kehlani portraying two of them, hoping to bag a date with a single woman named Bianca. It's pretty goofy in the best way possible, especially when all of the contestants get a chance to answer some questions about how they'd treat Bianca.

When KYLE debuted the song on Beats 1, he told Zane Lowe, "I met her and she was hella cool. I was like, 'Wow this might be the coolest person I damn near ever ran into in my life.'"

Recorded in KYLE's apartment, the incredibly catchy "Playinwitme" has the potential to just as well as "iSpy" did in 2016. In fact, the song already has over 40 million streams on Spotify alone within its first month of release. Light of Mine is also due to feature appearances from Khalid, 2 Chainz, and Sophia Black among others.

KYLE promises that the upcoming record will explore more aspects of his personality, explaining, "Most people have perceived my brand and my personality as this guy that just is so happy, he has no cares in the world. I think that especially now, with 'iSpy' they don't really see the whole picture."
