Kanye Tweets Screenshot of J. Cole Phone Call: 'We Got Love'

Kanye West tweeted a screenshot depicting a talk with J. Cole today, with Yeezus writing "we got love."

Kanye West just tweeted a screenshot depicting a phone call of no less than four minutes and 14 seconds with J. Cole, to which the MAGA-adjacent artist added “we got love.” While Charlamagne tha God recently claimed Kanye West thinks J. Cole is always dissing him—most notably through Cole’s “False Prophets” record—Kanye’s tweet from last week would argue otherwise. On Saturday, Yeezus posted a link to Smokepurpp’s remix of Kanye’s “Lift Yourself,” with a clear and direct shoutout to Cole, stating, “I’m posting this but not as a diss to J. Cole. I love J. Cole.”

Today’s tweet might not convince those of you eager to keep a Kanye and Cole beef alive, but it certainly proves that the two have at least been having a conversation, with nothing but love and support for Cole on behalf of Ye these past few days.

In case you haven’t heard yet, the hotly anticipated Kanye interview with Charlemagne was released today, and runs astonishingly close to two hours. In the interview, Ye talks his breakdown (which he describes as his breakthrough), Kim Kardashian’s armed robbery incident in Paris, and his relationship to Jay Z.

There’s a lot of classic Kanye throughout the interview, with philosophical notions regarding love and fear, the unnecessarily binary nature of positive versus negative, and how he feels he’s breaking through the simulation we’re all collectively in. Clearly, it’s Yeezy season, with twitterstorms in our midst and albums on the way. Buckle up, everybody.
