A group of volunteer divers who make YouTube videos on a channel called Adventures With Purpose might have cracked an 18-year-old case after discovering the body of a Pennsylvania man who went missing in December 2003. Amabile disappeared after calling his babysitter in 2003 and telling them he would be late picking up his two daughters.

According to CBS News, the team of divers found a vehicle submerged 24 feet under Darby Creek near the Ridley Township Marina. After police arrived on the scene, the car was revealed to be owned by James Amabile, a man who went missing 18 years ago. The Amabile family also believes that the remains inside were his as well.

“We believe and the family believes that we have definitely closed this case for them,” diver Doug Bishop told reporters after the find. “Like I said, the medical examiner is going to have to do an exact identification before we can say for sure we have found Jimmy. He was known as Jimmy. His family is very extremely grateful.”

The car was discovered underwater with a pylon drilled through it, as investigators believe it happened by accident during the construction of a dock.

“At this moment we want to take a moment to express our sympathies to the entire Amabile family as they navigate this tragic outcome to a nightmare that has lasted 18 years,” the divers added in the YouTube video’s description.
