Josh Bangle, a representative from the Lowell Observatory in Flagstaff, told Complex it's not clear whether this was the result of a meteor streaking across the sky or space junk, which is basically just trash that orbits the Earth. But whatever it was, witnesses say the look and sound of it was very striking.
