With Summer 2017 nearly at its halfway mark, we realize you may have a lot of catching up to do with your seasonal bucket list. Here at Complex, we feel your pain.
We all know summertime brings about a special kind of motivation; the motivation to try a new restaurant, to see an outdoor concert, or perhaps even just to spend some quality time with your family. For those running low on ideas of what else to do this season, here’s what’s on our summer bucket lists for 2017.
Fidget Spinners with Grandma
I’d like to eat pizza while topless at Fort Tilden beach. Get my grandmother to fidget spin on her 90th birthday. Watch Dave East play basketball IRL. Get Sole Collector's YouTube poppin' . End bucket hats once and for all . Bring back visors -tanning, growing my hair long, and trying to stop wearing makeup (right, ladies?). Get another tattoo . Get a pair of Air Max 97s . See Wonder Woman, Spider-Man, Atomic Blonde, and all of the action movies. Lead my volleyball team to victory (by cheating) . And, reveal my DMs on my Instagram stories (follow me on IG @mossberg).
—Rachel Mossberg (Producer, Sole Collector)
In-Flight Snack
Zero G flight is on my list. I hate flying but I want so much to do spins in the earth's stratosphere that I'd be willing to get on a plane and do it. Plus, it's different from skydiving because you're basically telling gravity and physics to suck it. It's the idea of being able to stare out of a window and get the combination of the moon and a full view of earth that really gets me. Sure, you get that with a traditional flight, but you can basically play with your food and I very much want to do that.
Cross country drive to the major landmarks and weird roadside attractions and write a meme-powered magnificent opus Kerouac would be disappointed someone made but would be mandatory reading for high school students to vex over and college kids to wax poetic about. This would lead me to an excavation site where I can assist with the recovery of an unidentified dinosaur fossil. It's DNA somehow harvested would lead to the creation of a new dinosaur in the next Jurassic World franchise because life finds a way.

Oh, Canada
I want to have an adult water gun battle with my friends. Also, visit Montreal . TMI, but pay off my credit card—shawty gotta stop buying fancy ish! But, hey, I'm building my credit. Also, buy a new lens for my camera; lord knows they are too expensive! Dust off my DJ equipment and get back on the turntables. And finally, get rid of some of my clothes.

Chillin at AfroPunk
I’ve got to eat the butter cake from Mastro’s Steakhouse . Memorize all of DAMN. Spend a full day in Brooklyn with Young M.A. Learn to drive stick (this has been an ongoing process) . Eat Bojangles or cookout with J. Cole while speaking on systematic/institutionalized racism. Also, go to Afropunk because SZA and Jr. Astronomers are summer . Re-learn how to skateboard (it's been years) . Make a short film too.
—LaMonday Baxter (Video Coordinator, Complex)
The Cookout
I still need to fire roast an entire animal in my backyard—preferably a lamb, but would settle for a pig if no other options are available. Also, sob uncontrollably watching Frank Ocean perform "Godspeed" live.

Cleaning Out the Sneaker Closet
My list is just one thing: Wear every single pair of sneakers I own. I have too damn many. I have impulse buys, utility buys, flashy choices, worthy choices, regrets, freebies, and a handful of grails. Collectively, in terms of time and space, they've added up to more than I'd ever like to admit, especially to my parents, girlfriend, and my student loan officer. The other day, I completed my bi-yearly clean out and I'm still stacking something like 40 pairs. (I ordered 3 new pairs the same day, because I'm a degenerate.) If I wore every sneaker I already own into the ground, I'd be wearing III's into my AARP years. I'm a firm believer in buying sneakers and then ACTUALLY WEARING THEM. Keeping them clean is one thing, but I hate seeing sneakers sit "on ice" or "preserved" just because they're worth more on eBay than a Manhattan one- bedroom. C'mon. Wear your sneakers if you love them. So, with what's left of summer, I'd like to get some good wear in on every single pair. It'll probably take me right up until Labor Day to do this, but I owe it to myself to face the choices I've made, and to a less existential extent, experiment with my fits.
Plus, who doesn't want to flex?

Yoga and Aggressive Rap
I need to hit a beach and tan until I'm crispy. Throw a brunch for bad (cool) women to discuss why men are trash over Bellinis and smoked salmon. Road trip somewhere far enough to feel lost and have no signals, but close enough to not die and have my case end up on crime TV (bonus points if the road trip vehicle is a jeep with no doors ). Take a flight to LA just to have lunch with one of my fave creatives, then cry at the money spent on the ride home. Finally learn how to swim, ride a bike (after swiping a Citi Bike), and do anything that would allow me to survive either a zombie apocalypse or just life in general. Oh, and binge watch an entire season of Daria. I need to attend a Travis Scott concert and rage in a mosh pit without having to be hospitalized after. And last but not least, do yoga with an aggressive rapper .

Turn Up at MoMA PS1
Pretty simple. Get a big crew together and go to the MoMA PS1 Summer Warm-up. Go surfing and see more concerts. Play the upcoming release of Destiny 2 (it looks sick!) and get the new iPhone 8.
—Mario De Armas (Creative Video Producer, Branded Content)
Survive the Family Reunion
At the top of my list, survive a family reunion with extended family I don't even know . After that, take two road trips with my family. Celebrate my daughter's first birthday. Definitely get to turn up in Barbados at a very good friend's wedding . Consistently get more than 5 hours of sleep during the workweek (yeah, right). I need to finish binge-watching Game of Thrones before someone spoils anything happening in season 7.
Probably need to hit the gym consistently so I can shed these extra 10 pounds. Drink more water too. And since it’s summer, fire up the grill and host a few backyard house parties.
