Famed Tattoo Artist Dr. Woo Finds His Creative Spark With Porsche | 'Dream Building'

Tattoo artist Dr. Woo designs his dream electric Porsche in the brand’s 'Dream Building' video series with 'Sneaker Shopping’s Joe La Puma. Watch here.

At some point in our lives, we’ve all fantasized about our dream car but the prospect of actually designing it often feels unlikely. Well, Porsche is changing all that for a few car enthusiasts in their new video series, Dream Building. Hosted by Sneaker Shopping’s very own Joe La Puma, the premiere episode features famed tattoo artist Dr. Woo.

Woo’s connection to the automaker all started with his uncle’s white Porsche 911. This classic model was his way in to learning about the brand’s heritage and the unparalleled passion Porsche owners have for their vehicles. Now, it’s his turn as Woo hit up the Porsche Experience Center in Atlanta to put together his own dream car. For this particular experience, he chose the fully electric Porsche Taycan 4 Cross Turismo as his canvas.

“I want to stay within the electric car family,” Woo says as soon as he steps into the center. In fact, the first time he hopped into a Taycan, he knew it was the model for him. “Obviously, you appreciate the craftsmanship of the car,” he continues. “But when you put your foot on the accelerator, the power and the speed is immediate, and you know this is something special.”Dr. Woo Porsche Dream Building Joe La PumaBeing that Woo is a tattooist, it’s no surprise that his attention to detail is next level. The LA native also goes out of his way to choose specific trimming and stitching for his fantasy vehicle. “I’m thinking more of the wood grain just to have that organic touch,” he tells La Puma. “I like feeling connected to more organic materials at times, especially when the car is already so fast and technologically advanced.”Dr. Woo Porsche Dream Building CarsIt’s clear that Porsche can make any dream car a reality.
