An optical illusion of an animal—which looks like a rabbit and a bird—has mystified the internet.

A scientist at the University of Oslo in Norway, Daniel Quintana discovered the video on Sunday and tweeted it, writing, “Rabbits love getting stroked on their nose.”

The video has since gone viral because Quintana played off a legendary optical illusion where a rabbit looks like a bird and vice versa. CNN has verified that the animal is indeed a bird, specifically an African White-necked Raven named Mischief. The bird lives at the World Bird Sanctuary in Valley Park, Missouri and is 18-years-old.

The video Quintana posted is from 2017 and was originally shared by Paige Davis, Curator of Bird Training at the sanctuary. According to Davis, Mischief is fairly famous, particularly for talking. “He has gone viral several times with millions of views,” she told CNN.

She added that Mischief flies, talks, paints, and overall is “a very talented bird.” Mischief is an educational ambassador for his species, teaching people about ravens, conservation, and how we can help animals.
