Taxes, criminal justice, abortion, and the environment were among the many topics addressed during Wednesday night's vice presidential debate. But the one of the most-talked about moment was, without a doubt, the giant fly that positioned itself on Mike Pence's head.

The fly was hard to ignore not only because of its size and stark contrast against Pence's white hair, but also because of the unusual amount of time it spent on his head. How long, you ask? Several viewers noted it took nearly two minutes before the insect flew away.

Twitter users, of course, couldn't help but crack a few jokes about the bizarre scene. Even Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden got in on the action, and used the viral moment to encourage his followers to donate to his campaign.
