Victoria has finally issued it's first legal permit to a medinal weed grower

Victoria has taken a large step towards finally providing medicinal cannabis to patients today after the first commercial permit has been awarded. The permit, which was awarded to Melbourne-based Cann Group Limited, sees stocks of the devil’s lettuce being transferred from Agriculture Victoria’s growing centre in an undisclosed location, into the hands of the company.

Recently, the Victorian state budget set aside over $28 million to create the Office of Medicinal Cannabis to regulate the new industry, an impressive sum which has led us to believe the undisclosed growing location was most likely in Dan Andrews basement.

Despite the fears that the 2016 NSW “stoner sloth” campaign struck into the hearts of Australians, shares in Cann Group have soared. The medicinal cannabis companies share price began at 30 cents, before getting high as shit at 77 cents per share, before mellowing out at a nice 53 cents. Year 10 students studying Business Management are arguably reaping the greatest rewards however, as being able to win the class share game through weed investment remains a classic stitch-up.

The company plans to have the weed ready by just before Christmas, meaning that those suffering from unfortunate conditions who require the product can order extra to be able to deal with Christmas day family politics debates.
