Two British designers, Thames London and Fred Perry have partnered up for their debut co-branded project. Created and energised by the fashion industry's constant need for powering new developing talents while respecting the heritage that influenced them.

The Fred Perry polo shirt is a long standing icon within British subcultural uniform, a piece that has been reworked with bold pink stripes synonymous with the 90's. This branded pink design features again within the collection on an oversized sweatshirt, where the iconic taped ringer t-shirt swaps it's embroidered Laurel Wreath for the outline of the Thames logo. Tennis whites clash with a bold retro green on a pair of leather tennis shoes, with the collection completed by a dual branded windbreaker and sweatbands.

Thames founder and British artist/skater Blondey McCoy describes how the collection came about - "I was bored of skating in T-shirts, so I started wearing Fred Perry polo shirts and I guess they noticed. I love the silhouette. I've always liked what they do and how their clothes have been re-interpreted by so many different cultures and I always thought 'I would love to see my logo on that'.”

The Fred Perry x Thames collection will be available worldwide from the 25th August.
